Sandi Latimer is a lifelong journalist who added books to her repertoire in 2001. She and her husband often thanked their dogs for letting them share their house for 27 years. After the grieving eased, Sandi decided to start putting dog stories to paper. Poodle Mistress was published in 2011. Shortly afterwards she was challenged to write about male friendships. She and her ex-boss collaborated on Newsroom Buddies that takes the reader through the newsroom of United Press International during its glory days from the late 1960s through the 1980s, and their work through the turmoil of a crumbling company. After losing her husband of 40 years, Sandi has turned to the keyboard for more writing.
