Rose Withering is an independently published author through Create Space. She has published 5 books. Her first was Amanda Faith published in 2007, Her second book Soul Mates was published in 2011, Her third book Rocking Chairs and Wrinkles was published in 2013. Her fourth book Thornburg’s Daughter was published in 2013. In 2015 she published her first children’s book, A Magi’s Meow, with her niece Nevaeh Baker. (Only Thornburg’s Daughter and Magi’s Meow is available at this time. All other books are currently out of print.)
Rose Withering writes about life, the joys and the sorrows with an emphasis on survivors of child abuse and domestic violence. She chose the name Rose Withering because she believes that all people who suffer abuse are like withering roses, all they need is a little love and they can be blooming again. She primarily writes women’s fiction and romance but has a niche for Fantasy and has started a Y/A fantasy series called Fantastic Tales of Fae. Thornburg’s Daughter is the first book in that series. She hopes to write eight more books including a collection of 100 fresh never told before fairy tales.
Rose Withering is the Municipal Liason for the Akronano Writers and Authors who is the Akron region associated with National Novel Writing Month. It is a challenge partaken by authors around the world in the month of November to write 50,000 words in a month. Rose has been actively involved with NaNoWriMo for ten years now. She has succeeded he goal of 50,000 words at least twice, with the highest amount of words ever written being around 250,000 words. Rose Withering is the soon to be wife of Science fiction Author Dan R. Arman. They live together in a spacious town house with their two rambunctious cats Athos and Achilles.
