Project Learn provides hope and opportunities for adults who cannot read and are in need of basic adult education services. Since 1981, we have provided free classes to more than 21,000 Summit County residents. We offer the continuum of educational services, including teaching adults to read, learning English as a Second Language, passing the GED exam, and preparing for college.
Ohio Expos has partnered with Project Learn of Summit County for the Ohio Readers & Writers Exp to help promote literacy in our area. Learn more about how you can show your support below.
Make a Monetary Donation
We’ll be collecting donations online up through the day of the event and in person at the Ohio Readers and Writers Expo. Or, iff you prefer, you can make a donation to their program directly.
Donate New Books
We’ll be raffling off books by local and exhibiting authors the day of the event. If you have a book you would like to donate, we’ll be happy to include it in the raffle. All raffle proceeds will benefit Project Learn of Summit County.
Get Involved
We will be raffling off books all day long and will have a 50/50 drawing to benefit Project Learn. Members of their staff will have a table set up and be sharing information about their organization and the work they are doing to promote literacy in Summit County. They are very much a donation and volunteer based organization. Support them by learning more about the important work they do and passing the word along.
